Job Title: Director, Advanced Planning - REMOTE
Job Responsibilities:
- Serve as an estate planning subject matter authority for high net worth clients and their advisors.
- Provide comprehensive financial and estate planning support as a member of a regionally-aligned Advanced Planning team.
- Support the Vice President, Advanced Planning Market Lead in advisor training, regional business development, and thought leadership.
- Engage with clients and advisors primarily through video technology to function remotely and meet virtually.
- Collaborate within the Advanced Planning team both virtually and in-person to enhance client service impact.
- Travel expected between 5% and 20% of the time, depending on proximity to regional sites and investor centers.
- Reside within commuting distance to any Minneapolis, MN area Investor Center.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor’s Degree with preferred designations: CPA, JD, ., LLM in taxation.
- 10-12 years of overall work experience with at least 4 years in trusts and estate planning, income tax planning, or succession planning within public accounting, law practice, or wealth management.
- Required FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses to be obtained within 90 days of employment.
- Knowledge in estate planning, family wealth transfer planning, wills/trusts, income taxation, and trust and estate taxation.
- Preferred experience in retirement, financial, investment, and insurance planning.
- Effective in providing and receiving coaching and mentorship.
- Proven ability to thrive in a team environment to deliver an exceptional client planning experience.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills to convey complex subjects clearly and effectively.
- Possesses emotional intelligence to build rapport and communicate effectively with clients and advisors.
- Solution-oriented with a client-first work ethic.
- Capable of working independently, balancing tasks, and prioritizing to maintain efficiency.
- Maintains a positive professional attitude and a thoughtful approach to achieving successful customer outcomes.
Salary Information:
- The base salary range for this position is $110,000 - $160,000 per year.
- Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities, scope, geographic location, relevant experience, and other factors.
- Base salary is only part of the total compensation package; the offer may include bonus or other variable compensation.
