Job Title: Deputy Director (Right to Counsel)

Job Responsibilities:
The Deputy Director will play a crucial role in shaping the direction and managing the administrative and programmatic operations of the Housing Unit at **Members Only**. The responsibilities include:

- Collaborating closely with the Director and other Deputies to guide the Housing Unit's strategic direction.
- Overseeing the practice’s grant responsibilities and ensuring compliance with funding requirements.
- Supervising a team of housing staff attorneys and supervisors to ensure high-quality legal representation and advocacy.
- Developing and strengthening relationships with partner community organizations to enhance collaborative efforts.
- Identifying systemic housing-related trends that could be influenced by strategic litigation.
- Providing housing rights training to other advocates, tenant associations, community members, and groups in collaboration with local community-based organizations.

Education and Experience Information:
The ideal candidate for the Deputy Director position should possess the following qualifications and experience:

- Five or more years of housing litigation experience.
- Demonstrated expertise in local, state, and federal housing law and policy, housing court practice, housing programs and subsidies, and public benefits.
- Excellent legal writing, litigation, and advocacy skills.
- Strong interpersonal, teaching/training, and organizational skills.
- Prior supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with community-based organizations is favored.
- Proficiency in Spanish or another language commonly spoken in the communities served by **Members Only** is preferred.

Salary Information:
The salary range for the Deputy Director position is between $115,584 and $183,696 USD, dependent on work history and experience.
