Job Responsibilities:
The Paralegal at the company will be responsible for providing legal and administrative assistance to the Chief Legal Officer. The role involves a variety of tasks, including:
- Drafting, reviewing, and maintaining legal documents such as practitioner agreements, business associate agreements, hospital agreements, and vendor contracts.
- Conducting legal research and preparing memoranda on healthcare laws and regulations, including HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and CMS guidance.
- Assisting with litigation support, including subpoena responses, discovery coordination, and document management.
- Supporting compliance initiatives, audits, and internal investigations by organizing documentation and tracking regulatory deadlines.
- Managing corporate governance documentation, including board minutes, licensure and entity filings, and entity records.
- Maintaining legal databases, legal hold files, and contract lifecycle systems.

- At least 3 years of experience in healthcare law or an associated field of law is necessary.
- Knowledge of the healthcare regulatory environment and relevant statutes is required.
- Familiarity with legal principles, practices, terminology, and research techniques is essential.
