Job Title: Assistant General Counsel - At-Home Solutions

Job Responsibilities:
The Assistant General Counsel for At-Home Solutions at the company is tasked with delivering high-quality legal advice and guidance to the At-Home Solutions business unit, which is a prominent provider of home healthcare medical supplies for individuals with chronic and serious health conditions in the United States. The role involves a comprehensive understanding of healthcare regulatory compliance, particularly in third-party billing and reimbursement. Key responsibilities include:

- Providing legal guidance on healthcare laws, regulations, and subregulatory guidance, especially those related to third-party payor billing and reimbursement, DMEPOS, and pharmacies.
- Advising on payor agreements, business payor relations, contracting strategies, and reimbursement disputes to mitigate legal risks.
- Maintaining familiarity with laws affecting client areas to provide basic counseling, including laws relevant to sales and marketing of products to patients and prescribers, and federal and state government programs like fraud and abuse laws, FDA regulation, and privacy laws.
- Drafting, negotiating, and reviewing a wide array of agreements related to manufacturer supply agreements and co-marketing arrangements.
- Ensuring that internal clients receive practical and timely legal advice on various legal matters related to operating a commercial business that markets to healthcare professionals.
- Assisting in creating new template agreements, playbooks, and training to support efficient contracting processes.
- Developing and conducting legal training for business clients.
- Staying updated on healthcare regulatory matters impacting the business, including current regulations, cases, trends, and best practices.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Juris Doctor (.) degree is required, with a record of high academic achievement preferred.
- An active license to practice law in any state is required.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a related field is preferred, ideally within a large complex organization or law firm.
- Extensive knowledge of healthcare law and regulation, particularly in billing and reimbursement.
- Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills are essential.
- The candidate should be solution and results-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and deliver key initiatives.
- The ability to assess legal, practical, and business risks quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment and make sound judgments under tight deadlines is crucial.
- The candidate should possess excellent problem-solving, written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills, along with enthusiasm and "self-starter" qualities.

Salary Information:
- The anticipated salary range for this position is $132,700 to $204,000.
- The position is bonus eligible.
