The Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles is seeking motivated individuals to join our volunteer programs. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to gain practical work experience, develop new skills, and learn about court procedures and operations. With 580 judges and commissioners and over 4,800 full-time employees, our court has an annual budget of over $1 billion and serves a population of over 10 million residents in the sprawling Los Angeles County.

About the Programs:
- Provide practical work experience and skill development
- Familiarize participants with court procedures and operations
- Enhance understanding and appreciation for the judicial system
Paralegal Program (VIP02):
- Assist with preparation of legal documents for cases involving child support, spousal support, and health insurance issues
- Placement areas: Family Law (Self-Help Centers, Domestic Violence Clinic, Guardianship Clinic, Toll Family Law Counseling Center with LAFLA)
- Ideal for students currently enrolled in paralegal schools or those who have completed a paralegal certificate program
Volunteer Eligibility:
- Students currently enrolled in paralegal schools, colleges, and universities throughout LA County
- Individuals who have completed a Paralegal certificate program in paralegal schools, colleges, or universities
