Labor & Employment Associate Attorney

Job Responsibilities

The Labor & Employment Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing high-level legal services within a sophisticated labor and employment practice. The candidate will engage extensively with clients, governmental agencies, and opposing counsel. The primary responsibilities include:

- Representing clients in all phases and types of employment litigation, counseling, and training.
- Drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings.
- Drafting and arguing motions.
- Taking and defending depositions.
- Managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Working independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Education and Experience Information

Candidates must be admitted to practice law in Texas and should have one (1) to seven (7) years of experience in employment law matters. Prior experience in employment litigation is required, preferably on the management side. Experience in employment counseling or in-house employment law is preferred. The position is open to attorneys with substantive litigation experience and a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law, even if they are developing their expertise in this specific area.
