Associate Attorney The candidate will be working on cases involving family law, business litigation, medical malpractice. Manage cases from inception to completion. Prepare analysis of the case and advise the client regarding strategies. Draft court pleadings, motions, and orders. Handle discovery, including depositions, filing/propounding/responding to written requests, and defense of motions. Attend court hearings and Trial-Other duties and special projects as needed.

The candidate must have a Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school; previous experience in litigation, family law, and business litigation; excellent research skills including use of legal and non-legal sources; admission to practice law in the state of Nevada; multi-jurisdiction admission preferred; excellent communication skills both verbal and written and possess good interpersonal skills for communicating with attorneys and clients; ability to manage and prioritize large caseload; identify and resolve problems in a timely manner; excellent problem solving and organizational skills; overall good work ethic and willingness to adapt to change. Must be proactive in moving cases forward; conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management, and attendance; analytical and detail-oriented, while working at a fast pace; proficient in software tools including but not limited to Word, Wordperfect, Excel, Outlook.
