Job Title: Attorney Represented Bodily Injury Claims Manager
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of Attorney-Represented Bodily Injury Adjusters.
- Provide exceptional claims and inquiry service through chat to Agents.
- Manage and motivate a team of ten to fifteen adjuster staff or vendors to achieve high performance and expert execution of required claim processes.
- Support the implementation of operational initiatives to achieve Claim, Discipline, Claims Service Area (CSA), and Company business objectives.
- Develop strategies to enhance employee performance and ensure expert execution of claim processes.
- Monitor staffing levels and workloads to ensure efficiency.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to team members.
- Participate in performance reviews of staff.
- Manage customer conflicts and assist in establishing unit goals and objectives.
- Deliver compassionate service that is fast, fair, and easy to ensure customer retention.
- Frequently participate in special projects as a subject matter expert.
- Oversee the performance of vendors.
- Respond to highly complex arbitrations and contentions.
- Negotiate highly complex claim settlements.
- Resolve highly complex customer conflicts or issues.
- Analyze unit reports to support the achievement of business unit objectives.
- Define, analyze, and track department, section, and/or unit measures.
- Review employee work quality and interactions with customers through conducting ride-alongs or sit-alongs and file reviews.
Education:
- Preferred: 4-year Bachelor's Degree.
Experience:
- Preferred: 5 or more years of experience in a relevant field.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- The position includes supervisory duties, overseeing a team of adjuster staff or vendors.
Education & Experience (in lieu):
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of the specified education requirements.
