Job Title: Tax Senior Manager - Private Companies

Job Responsibilities:
The Tax Senior Manager for Private Companies at the company is tasked with a wide array of responsibilities aimed at assisting private companies with their business advisory needs. The role involves aiding in audit, tax compliance, and planning to enhance operational efficiency and allow businesses to focus on strategy. The manager will experience the business life cycle of private companies, from inception to growth, maturity, and transition. Key responsibilities include:

- Assisting in the design and implementation of personalized service plans for privately owned entities, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Focusing on critical issues such as wealth management, compliance, cash flow management, equity expansion, divestiture, and exit strategies.
- Managing ownership and growth for entrepreneurs, private business owners, and family enterprises in a way that fits the needs of their business in a changing global landscape.
- As part of a team of problem solvers, addressing complex business issues from strategy to execution.
- Encouraging team members to have a voice and inviting opinions from all, including quieter members.
- Effectively dealing with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations.
- Initiating open and candid coaching conversations at all levels.
- Moving easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail.
- Anticipating stakeholder needs and developing potential solutions.
- Contributing technical knowledge in areas of specialization.

Education and Experience Information:
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor Degree
- Required Fields of Study: Accounting
- Minimum Years of Experience: 6 years

Certification(s) Required:
- CPA, Member of the Bar, or other tax, technology, or finance-specific credentials may qualify for this opportunity.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrates intimate-level knowledge and/or a proven record of success in complex tax issues faced by non-publicly traded companies.
- Experience in day-to-day compliance and consulting for a variety of entities.
- Proven ability to identify and address client needs.
- Experience in building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement.
- Proven communication skills to articulate value propositions.
- Proficiency in managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing, and collections.
- Experience in supervising teams, fostering an atmosphere of trust, and promoting diverse views for improvement and innovation.
- Proven ability to provide timely, meaningful written and verbal feedback to staff.
- Demonstrated leadership as a business advisor, including developing new relationships and making introductions to sell new services with a "One Firm" service mindset.
- Experience in innovating through new and existing technologies and experimenting with digitization solutions.
- Proficiency in using digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements.

Salary Information:
The salary range for this position is $119,300 - $328,000, with the possibility of an annual discretionary bonus. For roles based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range. Actual compensation within this range will depend on the individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and applicable employment laws. The company offers a wide range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401k, holiday pay, vacation, personal and family sick leave, and more.
