Job Title: Litigation Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the company's litigation discovery process while reporting to one or more in-house attorneys.
- Support the end-to-end discovery and e-discovery processing, including evidence collection, coordination, organization, and response preparation.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of discovery and subpoena responses.
- Conduct factual investigations to supplement discovery.
- Collaborate with outside counsel and e-discovery vendors to achieve discovery objectives.
- Develop and implement efficient processes to streamline litigation operations within the company.
- Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the legal and compliance functions.
- Assist in overseeing the litigation settlement process, including developing internal procedures and master legal forms.
- Maintain accurate and organized legal documentation.
- Implement systems for efficient record-keeping and retrieval of relevant legal and operational information.
Education and Experience Information:
- Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in a relevant field; paralegal certification preferred.
- Proven experience in a paralegal or legal operations role, preferably within litigation.
- Superior organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently.
- Technical proficiency in legal software, document management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with litigation management software and legal invoice software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent comprehension skills.
- Demonstrated positive attitude with good judgment.
- Trustworthy and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information and topics.
Salary Information:
- Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 DOE
