Title: Corporate Counsel at Inteplast Group

Position Objective: Assist the General Counsel with corporate strategic initiatives and provide legal support for various activities.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor required, with continuous legal education attendance
- Minimum of 12 years legal and operational experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of intellectual property and Uniform Commercial Code
- Familiarity with labor, employment, and immigration law preferred
- Exposure to M&A and corporate finance
- Admitted or eligible for admission to the bar in NJ
- Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills

Responsibilities:

- Support General Counsel on all legal matters affecting the company
- Review, interpret, and draft various contracts
- Analyze legislation and court cases impacting the company's business
- Assist with business structure and entity decisions
- Manage outside counsel selection and retention
- Provide legal support for major company initiatives
- Assist with litigation and intellectual property matters
- Draft legal memoranda and corporate governance documents
- Understand company's products and operations
- Provide proactive legal support to operational and support units

Work Environment:

- Ability to travel up to 20%
