Job Responsibilities:
The Summer Associate program at the law firm is designed to provide law students with a comprehensive understanding of the legal profession, particularly within the Consumer Financial Services, Data & Technology, Healthcare, Intellectual Property, and Real Estate (Transactional) practice groups. As a Summer Associate, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experienced attorneys, gaining practical experience and insights into various aspects of legal practice. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting attorneys with legal research, analysis, and writing.
- Participating in drafting and reviewing legal documents and contracts.
- Engaging in client meetings and discussions to understand client needs and legal strategies.
- Attending court proceedings and depositions to observe legal processes and procedures.
- Collaborating with attorneys on various projects and case preparations.
- Participating in training sessions and workshops to enhance legal skills and knowledge.
- Engaging in networking events and activities to build professional relationships within the firm.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for the 2026 2L Summer Associate position should be currently enrolled as second-year law students (2Ls) in an accredited law school, expected to graduate in the class of 2027. The program seeks individuals who demonstrate strong academic performance, excellent research and writing skills, and a keen interest in the specified practice areas. Previous experience in legal internships or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
Salary Information:
