The Position

**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s growing Wealth Planning Practice is looking to add a Senior Wealth Planning attorney with at least 10 years of experience to any of our Wisconsin offices. The attorney will serve as a business advisor to clients, guiding them in a full range of legal matters throughout their life cycle.

The ideal candidate will have experience creating and implementing estate plans, the administration of trusts and estates, including experience with preparation and/or review of gift tax returns and estate tax returns, creating marital property agreements, and transfer tax planning, including the use of lifetime irrevocable trusts.

The attorney will build strong relationships through direct interaction with clients while advising them on adapting and responding to unforeseen family and business issues, economic conditions, and ever-changing tax laws.

This position can be in any of our Wisconsin offices.
Job Requirements:

Knowledge Base & Education:

. from an ABA accredited law school
Excellent academic credentials
10 years of experience in creating and implementing estate plans, the administration of trusts and estates, creating marital property agreements, and transfer tax planning
Wisconsin license preferred or willing to become licensed in Wisconsin.

For Colorado applicants only (as required by the Colorado Equal Pay Act): The starting salary for associate positions in our Denver office is $190,000. Pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Associates are eligible to participate in Michael Best’s associate bonus program, subject to the program’s conditions and restrictions. This position is considered full-time and is therefore eligible to participate in employer-sponsored benefits, including: medical, dental, vision, as well as elective/voluntary life, disability, and accident coverage. All full-time employees are eligible to participate in the firm's 401k plan.
