Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm, is seeking a Risk Management Conflict Clerk with 1-2 years of experience to join their team. This is a full-time position with flexible options for remote, hybrid, or onsite work. The ideal candidate will have medium to large law firm experience, with paralegal or law clerk experience being a plus. The candidate must also maintain confidentiality in all Client/Firm matters.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct conflict of interest search requests and handle matter intake through conclusion
- Analyze conflicts reports and make informed recommendations
- Communicate and disseminate conflict of interest information to attorneys and other staff
- Conduct research using third-party business resources for new clients and other assigned work
- Maintain knowledge of professional conduct rules and client relationship considerations
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
- Contribute to department work product through effective communication and collaboration
- Work overtime as needed and approved, including weekend and holiday coverage
Qualifications:
- Minimum two years of experience in research, paralegal, or clerking, or one year of direct conflicts experience in a law firm
- Professional demeanor and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Discretion and good judgment
- Proficiency with Outlook preferred, familiarity with legal documents a plus
- College education and work experience preferred
