Law Firm Seeking Risk Management Conflict Clerk

Overview:

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a leading national law firm, is currently seeking a Risk Management Conflict Clerk to join our team. This is a full-time position with flexible options for remote, hybrid, or onsite work. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medium to large law firm, with a preference for paralegal or law clerk experience. Confidentiality and professionalism are essential qualities for this role.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough conflict of interest searches and manage matter intake from start to finish.
- Analyze conflicts reports and make informed recommendations to attorneys.
- Communicate and disseminate conflict of interest information to relevant parties.
- Conduct research using third-party resources for new clients and assigned projects.
- Stay up-to-date on professional conduct rules and client relationship considerations.
- Participate in special projects and perform assigned duties as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance productivity.
- Be available for overtime and weekend/holiday coverage as needed.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of two years' experience in a related field (paralegal, research, etc.) or one year of direct conflicts experience in a law firm.
- Professional demeanor and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Discretion and good judgment are crucial.
- Proficiency with Outlook preferred.
- Familiarity with legal documents is a plus.

Education:

- College degree preferred.
