Job Title: Corporate Counsel, Amazon Air

Job Responsibilities:
The Corporate Counsel for Amazon Air will be primarily responsible for supporting the Amazon Air Cargo business. This includes handling commercial and regulatory matters, shaping long-term strategies, identifying creative solutions for legal issues, and building processes that address risk while allowing business flexibility. The role involves working directly with the Amazon Air Cargo team to develop operational and technical capabilities and enhance customer experiences. The attorney will serve as lead counsel, partnering with the business to help grow the air cargo services provided to third-party customers such as enterprise shippers, freight forwarders, and logistics companies.

Education and Experience Information:
- A Juris Doctor degree and membership in one state bar or equivalent are required.
- A minimum of 5 years of legal experience is necessary.
- Experience working in the aviation and/or logistics sectors is required.
- Preferred qualifications include a mix of experience in a law firm, in-house, and/or government roles.
- Prior work experience with a start-up or other rapid-growth business is advantageous.

Salary Information:
The compensation for this role reflects the cost of labor across various US geographic markets. The base pay ranges from $138,500 per year in the lowest geographic market to $229,000 per year in the highest geographic market. Pay is determined by several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon offers a total compensation package that may include equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation, along with a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits.
