Job Title: Pre Suit Attorney

Job Responsibilities:

As a Pre-Suit Attorney at the law firm, you will be tasked with several critical responsibilities aimed at managing and negotiating cases effectively. Your primary duties will involve:

- Gathering essential documents and evidence pertinent to claims and negotiating settlement offers.
- Collaborating with your team to draft demand letters and facilitate negotiations.
- Managing and negotiating cases with insurance companies to achieve favorable outcomes.
- Handling a full caseload efficiently, ensuring each case is given the necessary attention and resources.
- Supervising a dedicated full-time legal assistant to support case management and client communication.
- Maintaining regular communication with clients to keep them informed and address any concerns.
- Opening new files, establishing initial client contact, and ensuring ongoing communication throughout the case.
- Conducting thorough investigations for each case, gathering and analyzing relevant information, and entering data into the ATO database.
- Verifying insurance coverage and liability issues, while maintaining contact with insurance providers to ensure all aspects of the case are covered.
- Overseeing client medical care, communicating with both clients and medical professionals to ensure proper treatment and documentation.
- Scheduling medical appointments and explaining procedures and related documentation to clients to ensure they understand the process.
- Continuously monitoring case status and reviewing medical records to keep cases on track.
- Organizing and maintaining case files in preparation for demand writers, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.

Education and Experience Information:

To qualify for the position of Pre-Suit Attorney at the law firm, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

- Be an active member of the Florida Bar Association in good standing.
- Possess strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
