Responsibilities:
• Handling a variety of legal matters in the areas of property owners association law, insurance defense, real estate and business litigation, construction law and construction defect litigation, corporate general counsel and regulatory compliance, collections and bankruptcy, and drafting and revising contractual agreements, corporate governing documents, and real estate documents.
• Conducting legal research and drafting legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and briefs.
• Representing clients in court and at other legal proceedings.
• Communicating with clients and providing them with updates on their cases.
• Collaborating with other attorneys and legal staff to provide comprehensive legal services to clients.
Requirements:
• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state of Texas.
• 1-3 years of experience in one or more of the practice areas listed above.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage a high caseload and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented and organized with strong attention to accuracy.
