Position Summary:

The Mergers & Acquisitions Resource Attorney at Cooley Law Firm is responsible for providing support to the M&A practice group by managing transaction databases, drafting and organizing form documents, monitoring legal and regulatory developments, and assisting with marketing and business development efforts. The ideal candidate must be a licensed attorney with at least 7 years of experience in a US M&A corporate/transactional practice and possess strong drafting and organizational skills. This is a full-time position with an expected annual pay range of $275,000 - $335,000, depending on location, experience, and skillset.

Responsibilities:

- Manage transaction databases by inputting deal terms and coordinating with knowledge management team
- Draft and revise template documents and organize forms, precedents, and other know-how
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments and prepare summaries and alerts
- Coordinate with legal education team to brainstorm content for trainings and firmwide initiatives
- Assist with marketing and business development efforts, including content creation for pitches and teach-ins
- Field day-to-day requests from attorneys for resources
- Participate in resource, knowledge management, and practice innovation projects as needed

Salary Information:

The expected annual pay range for this position is $275,000 - $335,000. Please note that final offer amount will be dependent on geographic location, applicable experience and skillset of the candidate.
