Job Title: Capital Markets Associate
Job Responsibilities:
The Capital Markets team at the law firm is seeking both an Associate with 2-3 years of experience and a Managing Associate with 4-5 years of experience in equity and/or debt capital markets. The successful candidates will join a dynamic and innovative legal team, with opportunities to be based in San Francisco, New York, or Boston offices. The primary responsibilities include:
- Providing legal guidance on capital raising solutions for innovators in the technology sector.
- Serving a wide range of clients, including the law firm’s 4,000+ tech and life sciences companies, from IPO through their operation as public companies and beyond.
- Advising leading investment banks, venture capital funds, and institutional investors in public equity and debt capital markets transactions.
- Delivering excellent client service with a strong commitment to the clients' needs.
- Engaging in public securities offerings, including both equity and debt.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates should fulfill the following qualifications:
- Experience: The Associate position requires 2-3 years of experience, while the Managing Associate position requires 4-5 years of experience in equity and/or debt capital markets.
- Educational Credentials: Candidates must possess excellent academic credentials.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, a motivated, entrepreneurial outlook, superior communication, and organizational skills are essential.
- Professional Requirement: Candidates must have Bar membership in the state where they wish to practice.
- Preferred Background: Major law firm experience is preferred.
Salary Information:
The expected salary range for this position is between $235,000 and $365,000. The law firm is committed to providing a comprehensive and competitive total compensation package. The level of pay within this range will depend on various job-related factors, including qualifications, relevant experience, education, particular skills or expertise, and geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, determined by firm and individual performance.
