Qualifications:

Strong academic credentials.

Our Global Finance group represents issuers, underwriters, servicers, and investors in the commercial real estate (CRE) securitization and CMBS marketplace. With decades of experience and a track record of success, our team is involved in the majority of all CMBS issuance and serves as issuer's counsel for a significant portion of all CRE collateralized loan obligations (CLOs).

As a Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities Associate, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of transactions and play a key role in deal teams. Your responsibilities will include drafting and reviewing transaction documents, conducting due diligence, communicating with clients and other parties, and managing key aspects of transactions. You will also have the opportunity to assist with business development initiatives and stay up-to-date with industry and regulatory developments.
To be successful in this role, you should have 3-6 years of securitization experience at a large law firm, strong academic credentials, and excellent drafting and negotiation skills. Familiarity with commercial mortgage-backed securities and commercial real estate finance is also preferred.
