The candidate must be licensed in the State of Illinois for an Assistant State’s Attorney position. Must be currently licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois. Previous professional experience in prosecution, litigation, criminal law, social services or related fields is required, with 3 years of post law school practice strongly preferred. Must be skilled in trial advocacy, communication, organization and technology, demonstrate good judgement and the ability to make decisions, and be willing represent the office in court and with the general public.
