This position is suited for candidates with significant knowledge of the Virginia State and Federal Court processes, including exposure to consumer financial services litigation and government enforcement matters. Duties:

  • Handle complex litigation matters from inception through resolution
  • Conduct and manage legal research and analysis
  • Draft legal memoranda, motions, and pleadings
  • Participate in depositions and court hearings
  • Collaborate with legal teams for comprehensive case strategy development
  • Provide representation and advocacy in court proceedings
  • Engage with clients and maintain clear communication throughout the case lifecycle

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of general litigation experience
  • Extensive experience in Virginia State and Federal Courts
  • Active Bar admission in the State of Virginia
  • Admission to or eligibility for admission to the District of Columbia Bar

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • A strong academic background is essential

Certifications:

  • Active Bar Admission in Virginia
  • Admission or willingness to obtain admission to the District of Columbia Bar through waiver
