Washington, . office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks public affairs attorney or professional with 5-10 years of experience in the public and/or private sector with experience in any of the following areas: healthcare, energy, tax; trade, and appropriations. The candidate will work with a small, close-knit team of attorneys, lobbyists, and professional staff. Will be part of a sophisticated, growing federal affairs practice that advises private entities, foreign governments, state and local governments, non-profit and advocacy organizations, and individuals on a broad range of federal policy issues. Have opportunities for advancement in a collegial environment with a young, dynamic, diverse, and bipartisan federal public affairs team. Collaborate with talented and team-oriented attorneys across practice groups and across offices; and have the ability to work remotely while maintaining an office and client presence in brand new Washington, . office space. Should have some combination of experience as a Congressional staffer and/or at a federal agency in a senior legal or policy role. Must have prior experience in a federal, multi-client environment (legal or lobbying). Must be willing to register on behalf of firm clients pursuant to the Lobbyist Disclosure Act and/or Foreign Agents Registration Act, as applicable. Must have prior experiences that prepare them to work with attorneys, staff, and clients from cultures and backgrounds different from their own. Must be licensed or become licensed to practice law in Washington, . Should have a keen interest in developing and implementing relationship-building skills both internally and externally.
