Job Overview:
A reputable law firm in Jacksonville, FL, is looking to expand its team by hiring an Associate Attorney with 3-6 years of experience in business and healthcare law. This role will primarily focus on general corporate law, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and healthcare regulatory matters.

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel to clients on corporate and healthcare-related matters.
  • Assist with mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions.
  • Conduct legal research and draft documents related to business and healthcare regulations.
  • Represent clients in negotiations and settlement discussions.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to provide high-quality legal services.
  • Maintain and foster client relationships while handling various aspects of business law.
  • Manage caseloads efficiently and meet deadlines while maintaining a high standard of legal service.

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in business and/or healthcare law.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex legal matters.
  • Proven track record of handling corporate law matters M&A transactions, and/or healthcare regulations.
  • Excellent research and drafting skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active member of the Florida Bar or eligible to become licensed in Florida.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research and writing.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of business law, M&A, and healthcare regulations.
  • Ability to work with clients in a professional and client-focused manner.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
