The successful candidate will be responsible for providing representation to clients in all aspects of corporate labor and employment legal representation, including, but not limited to, litigation and trial work, resolving governmental and workplace investigations, and developing creative ideas and pragmatic solutions for client problems.

Position Requirements:

• 10+ years of labor and employment experience.
• and be in good standing.
• Experience with administrative practice before local, state and federal agencies; and/or advice and counseling is required.
• Experience in traditional labor matters, including labor arbitrations, negotiations, and unfair labor practice charges, and in transactional matters involving labor and employment issues is a plus.
• Is conscientious and responsive, with a proven attention to detail while working under demanding deadlines.
• Has excellent written communication and drafting skills and an ability to produce written product that is concise and effective.
• Self-starter who takes initiative and works well independently, but embraces teamwork and works effectively with others who have different styles.

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations and in arbitration in employment matters, including class/collective actions and discrimination, harassment, retaliation, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases.
• Advise and counsel clients on legal issues stemming from the relationship between employers and employees.
• Draft and review employment agreements, contracts, company policies, and employee handbooks.
