The Director of Docketing Services at Husch Blackwell LLP is a highly sought after position in the legal industry. This full-service litigation and business law firm, with multiple locations across the United States, is looking for a talented and experienced professional to lead their docketing teams for the IP and Litigation practice specialty centers. The Director will have the opportunity to work closely with firm leadership and Practice Specialty Center leaders to provide thought leadership and development to this function.

The Director of Docketing Services will have a variety of responsibilities, including directly supervising Docketing Managers and managing the docketing staff and all docket-related services. They will also provide direction, development, and oversight of docketing services across the firm and serve as a resource and subject matter expert to firm leadership. The Director will also be responsible for identifying and analyzing docketing technologies, trends, and best practices, building relationships with attorneys, and collaborating with PSC Leaders and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with established rules and procedures.

Other essential job functions include auditing docket entries, maintaining knowledge of e-filing requirements, and overseeing the departmental budgets and performance reviews. The Director will also be responsible for hiring, firing, promotions, and overseeing the creation and elimination of positions within the docketing teams. They will work on a variety of ad hoc projects as needed and will be expected to provide quality client service to internal and external contacts.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and extensive legal docketing experience within a law firm environment. They should have a minimum of ten years of increasingly responsible, directly related experience, including significant supervisory experience. The Director should also have a demonstrated subject matter expertise in docketing rules, practices, and procedures and proficiency with docket databases.

- State of Massachusetts: $144,000 - $275,000
- State of New York: $134,000 - $289,000
- State of Washington: $139,000 - $265,000
