The ideal candidate is professional in demeanor, detail-orientated, and enjoys working with others.
Strong communication skills and the ability to multi-task are required for success in this position. Eligible
candidates must have a nursing degree, clinical experience, and administrative experience in a law firm
or legal department. Legal Nurse Consultant (LNC) Certification preferred. All candidates must
understand the importance of upholding client confidentiality.

Duties and Responsibilities
? Review, summarize, and analyze medical records and other pertinent health care and legal
documents.
? Research relevant healthcare-related literature, guidelines, standards, and regulations.
? Abstract medical records, organize and prepare both outline and narrative summaries of the records
for internal use and for presentation to the client.
? Analyze medical records and billings to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the medical
evidence including pre-existing or co-existing medical conditions.
? Identify and provide information regarding medical experts and physicians.
? Cross-check facts and verify the accuracy and authenticity of information.
? Compose, organize, and file legal documents.
? Review and summarize deposition and trial transcripts.
? Assist with trial preparation by providing demonstrative aides, anatomical models, and timelines.
