A well-established law firm based in Annapolis, MD, is seeking a positive, compassionate, and motivated Estate Planning Attorney with 5-10 years of experience in Estate Planning and Elder Law. Location:
Duties:
- Own and manage various aspects of client relationships.
- Effectively present seminars/webinars for the public and private clients.
- Attend initial client consultations and provide expert legal counsel.
- Draft, proofread, and finalize legal documents related to estate planning and elder law.
- Generate new business and develop professional relationships with referral sources.
- Cultivate a positive and supportive client experience.
- Collaborate as a team player in a high-standard, client-focused environment.
- Contribute to community outreach and education efforts.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years of experience in Estate Planning and Elder Law.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong client counseling and relationship-building skills.
- Self-starter with a proactive, warm, and friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Maryland Bar admission is required.
- District of Columbia Bar admission is recommended but not required.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
- A concentration in Estate Planning and/or a Tax LLM is preferred but not required.
Certifications:
- Admission to the Maryland State Bar (required).
- Admission to the District of Columbia Bar (preferred but not required).
