Location:

Duties:

  • Own and manage various aspects of client relationships.
  • Effectively present seminars/webinars for the public and private clients.
  • Attend initial client consultations and provide expert legal counsel.
  • Draft, proofread, and finalize legal documents related to estate planning and elder law.
  • Generate new business and develop professional relationships with referral sources.
  • Cultivate a positive and supportive client experience.
  • Collaborate as a team player in a high-standard, client-focused environment.
  • Contribute to community outreach and education efforts.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of experience in Estate Planning and Elder Law.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong client counseling and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-starter with a proactive, warm, and friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work efficiently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Maryland Bar admission is required.
  • District of Columbia Bar admission is recommended but not required.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • A concentration in Estate Planning and/or a Tax LLM is preferred but not required.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Maryland State Bar (required).
  • Admission to the District of Columbia Bar (preferred but not required).

  • Estate Planning and Elder Law expertise.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and counseling abilities.
  • Client relationship management.
  • Public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Business development and client acquisition.
  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents.
