Law Firm is currently seeking a Patent Agent with a background in Life Sciences to join our team. Our firm focuses on Patents and Innovations (Counseling and Prosecution) and has locations in Boston, Century City, Los Angeles, New York, Palo Alto, San Diego, San Francisco, SOMA, and Washington, . This is a unique opportunity for a self-motivated, collaborative, and intellectually curious scientist with an advanced degree in a relevant field to join our team and work with a diverse group of clients. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a law firm or industry setting, as well as a strong understanding of patent prosecution and related processes. They should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively. In addition, the candidate should be able to work well in a team setting and be willing to take on mentorship and training opportunities. At Law Firm, our Patent Agents work closely with our experienced patent attorneys, receiving both formal and informal training and mentorship. They have the opportunity to work with clients both domestically and internationally, gaining valuable experience and exposure. We do not offer relocation assistance and do not accept submissions from search firms. Salary for this position ranges from $145,000 to $210,000, depending on experience and level. They must also be qualified to sit for the USPTO patent bar and have plans to attend law school, with LSAT scores and imminent plans to attend strongly preferred.
