H2: Practice Assistant (Legal Secretary - Litigation) Position Available

Key Responsibilities:

- Providing high-quality litigation support to a group of lawyers and professionals in a team environment
- Creating, formatting, editing, proofreading, and managing documents in Microsoft Office Suite
- Answering telephone calls and routing them to appropriate lawyers or staff members
- Assisting with managing lawyer's calendar and scheduling appointments, depositions, meetings, etc.
- Scheduling domestic and foreign travel through firm's travel system
- Tracking, organizing, and processing reimbursements, invoices, and check requests
- Running conflict checks, opening new client matters, and drafting engagement letters
- Managing work requests from lawyers and completing them within provided deadlines
- Performing routine clerical duties and coordinating with other administrative departments
- Operating independently to complete assignments accurately and timely
- Performing clerical duties for non-legal departments, if needed

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree
- 4-5 years of experience supporting lawyers and paralegals
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with document management systems
- Proficiency in legal administrative assistant functions and advanced technical and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Attention to detail and excellent grammar and punctuation skills
- Ability to articulate thoughts and present ideas effectively
