Responsibilities:
- Administrative litigation before state regulatory commissions and/or FERC
- Contract negotiation involving transmission or generation services or assets
- Representation regarding organized market developments
- Review and development of electric and/or gas tariffs
- Municipalization, local law, tribal law, or not-for-profit matters
- Legislative/policy development and advocacy

Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in general energy and utility matters
- Familiarity with state and federal energy laws
- Legal experience on matters before a state public utility commission or in-house for a city, municipal utility, or rural electric cooperative
- JD from an accredited university
- Membership in the Minnesota Bar

- Pay range of $194,000 - $244,000+
