Law Firm Seeking Experienced Associate in Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions/Private Equity Practice

Are you an experienced associate with a strong background in mergers and acquisitions and/or private equity? Look no further! Latham & Watkins LLP, a leading global law firm with offices in Austin, Century City, Houston, and Washington, ., is seeking a highly qualified associate to join our 3rd through 5th year associate class in our Mergers & Acquisitions/Private Equity Practice.

As an associate in our firm, you will have the opportunity to work on complex and high-profile transactions, advising clients on a wide range of corporate matters. We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of 2 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and/or private equity, who is ready to take on challenging and exciting work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

- Participate in all aspects of corporate transactions, including drafting and negotiating agreements, conducting due diligence, and advising clients on legal and business matters
- Collaborate with partners and senior associates on client matters, providing insightful and strategic advice
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and/or private equity at a reputable law firm
- Strong academic credentials, including a . from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar in the jurisdiction of the desired office location
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and demanding environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
