# Legal Assistant at Law Firm

Atheria Law is looking for a full-time legal assistant to join their San Francisco office. The ideal candidate must be a professional, organized self-starter with a strong attention to detail and the ability to interact with staff and clients in a fast-paced, high volume legal environment.

## Responsibilities

- Assist attorneys in managing a dynamic, high-volume practice
- Prepare, revise, format, and finalize a wide variety of documents, including correspondence, memoranda, and legal materials
- Responsible for proofreading, correctly formatting, and questioning any inconsistencies in all materials
- Provide administrative support, including but not limited to, processing conflict checks and new client/new matter forms; email and phone communication; scheduling conference calls; coordinating and scheduling travel arrangements; and maintaining attorney calendars
- Conduct internet research as directed by attorneys
- Interact daily with other practice groups within the firm to help facilitate the highest possible legal support to attorneys and clients
- Establish and maintain electronic files in compliance with current firm policies using the firm’s document management system
- Team-based approach: Provide assistance to other legal assistants and paralegals to meet firm and client needs; organize and prioritize workload to enable and facilitate team effort to accomplish firm and client goals most efficiently
- Foster professional, cooperative, and supportive relationships with peers, supervisors, and clients
- Handle information that is highly confidential and sensitive and requires discretion and diplomacy
- Other general administrative duties and projects as assigned

## Qualifications

- , litigation experience a plus
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Interest in taking ownership over projects

- Ability to work in a team setting, including with team members in different offices and on different teams

## Work Location and Hours

Atheria Law supports flexible working arrangements, including remote work, but believe that in-person interaction is important. At this time, all employees are required to work in the office at least two days a week, or as otherwise needed, during regular business hours of 9:00 . to 5:00 ., Monday through Thursday. Remote work on Fridays is encouraged.

## Compensation

The expected annual salary range for this position is $65-80,000. The salary offered will be determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to experience level, education/training, and relevant skills. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary performance-based bonus program.
