Patent Agent
The candidate must have a degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering field with several electrical engineering courses. Ability to work in Advent’s offices in Omaha, Nebraska required. Should have strong oral and written communication skills. Should preferably have 3+ years of experience drafting and prosecuting patent applications. Experience with computer aided drafting/modeling programs preferred. Experience with patent searching, patentability analysis, clearance analysis and patent landscape analysis preferred. Curiosity to learn technologies outside of field of study preferred. Work experience in the electrical engineering field desired.
