Senior Trial Paralegal – Retail & Transportation Department (8+ years experience) at Law Firm in San Diego, CA

Introduction:
- Seeking a highly experienced Senior Trial Paralegal with 8+ years of experience to provide support to attorneys in a fast-paced, dynamic law firm environment.
- This position will involve working on cases from inception through discovery, litigation, settlement, trial, and/or appeal.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation and trial preparation, as well as experience in tracking hours and billing time.

Job Title:
Senior Trial Paralegal – Retail & Transportation Department

Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in a paralegal role, with a focus on civil litigation and trial preparation.
- Proficient in MS Word and knowledgeable in Code of Civil Procedure.
- Experience with electronic trial presentation software is a plus.

Responsibilities:
Pre-Trial:
- Prepare subpoenas and notices to consumer.
- Review medical records and create chronologies.
- Conduct witness interviews.
- Summarize depositions.
- Conduct research.
- Handle small claims matters.

Trial:
- Organize and work up case for trial.
- Issue subpoenas and notices to attend.
- Track witnesses.
- Prepare exhibit and witness lists and binders.
- Prepare CACIs.
- Prepare discovery and trial notebooks.

Salary:
- Competitive salary range of $90K to $100K.
