Job Description:
Taft Law is seeking a motivated and experienced attorney to join our growing Trademark and Unfair Competition Litigation group. This position will support practices in multiple markets and involve a wide range of responsibilities, including claim evaluation, demand letters and responses, TTAB filings, brief writing, document discovery, deposition experience, and drafting settlement agreements. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in TM/copyright litigation and a strong understanding of trademark and unfair competition laws.

Responsibilities:
• Evaluate claims and prepare demand letters and responses
• File TTAB proceedings
• Draft complex briefs
• Conduct heavy document discovery
• Take first and second chair depositions
• Draft settlement and coexistence agreements
• Support practices in multiple markets
• Work on cases pending before the TTAB and around the United States

Requirements:
• At least 3 years of experience in TM/copyright litigation
• Strong understanding of trademark and unfair competition laws
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Admission to the bar in the state of Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, or Minnesota
