Law firm Arnold & Porter is seeking a mid-level Environmental Associate to join their Environmental Practice Group in one of their US offices. The successful candidate will have significant experience and expertise in environmental law, including regulatory counseling and litigation, and must have a minimum of three years of prior work experience in this field. Prior experience in the environmental sector, such as in industry, government, or non-profit work, is a plus. Superior legal writing skills, strong academic credentials, and excellent references are also required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in environmental law matters
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Prepare legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and motions
- Participate in all stages of litigation, from case development to trial and appeals
- Collaborate with a team of lawyers and other professionals to deliver high-quality legal services to clients
- Stay up-to-date on environmental law developments and contribute to the firm's thought leadership in this area
