Key Responsibilities: - Assemble and file documents electronically - Prepare motion and discovery shells, motion filing - Coordinate expert depositions and trial - Assist with preparation of trial/mediation/appellate briefs - Professionally interface with clients, opposing counsel, and court clerks - Utilize excellent technology skills - Process payment requests and coordinate client billing - Maintain client files and contact information - Schedule meetings, conference calls, depositions, court hearings, and travel arrangements - Utilize Outlook/LSS calendaring for state and federal court deadlines - Experience with iManage document management program highly preferred - Strong editing, proofreading, and grammar skills - Ability to anticipate problems, find solutions, and prioritize work accordingly - Exceptional time management and organizational skills - Uphold a high level of personal integrity, confidentiality, tact, discretion, and judgment - Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, and Excel) - Knowledge of PDF document manipulation and editing using Adobe Acrobat - Willingness to work overtime as needed - Experience in Defense Civil Litigation preferred - Requirements: - Outstanding attitude - Excellent MS Office skills - Well-developed communication abilities - Ability to effectively manage multiple projects - Strong attention to detail - Experience in insurance defense litigation, employment, public entity, and court of appeals preferred Salary Information: The hiring range for this position is $57,000 - $67,000 annually.
