Bankruptcy Attorney - Represent Creditors in Texas

Minimum 500 and maximum 3000 words

They are currently seeking a Bankruptcy Attorney to join their team in Texas. The position will involve representing creditors in bankruptcy matters and interacting with clients and staff in a professional and diligent manner.

The ideal candidate will have a and be admitted to the Texas state bar or the United States Bankruptcy Courts in Texas. They should also have experience in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 cases representing lenders and creditors, including attendance at court hearings. Prior bankruptcy experience is preferred, but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Interacting with and aiding clients and staff in a professional and diligent manner
- Preparing various motions, objections, and orders associated with bankruptcy representation
- Attending court hearings related to bankruptcy matters
- Managing assigned caseload to meet goals and client expectations
- Handling escalated and time-sensitive matters as needed
- Maintaining a positive and professional relationship with clients
- Assisting with other duties and special projects as needed

Qualifications:

- Preferred 2-5 years of bankruptcy experience
- Admitted to the Texas state bar or the United States Bankruptcy Courts in Texas
- Admitted to practice in the Federal District Courts in Texas or eligible for admission
- Ability to work with numbers and basic accounting
- Proficient in software tools such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to identify and solve issues in a timely manner
- Team player with a willingness to help others
- Highly organized with the ability to multitask
- Conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management, and attendance
- Takes initiative and demonstrates commitment to the firm's values
- Analytical and detail-oriented with the ability to work at a fast pace
- Develops professional relationships and builds rapport with others
- Good work ethic and adaptability to change
