Job Title: Labor and Employment Paralegal - Fox Rothschild LLP

Experience: At least 5 years

Salary Range: $80,000 - $115,000

Location: San Francisco, CA

Department: Legal

Primary Responsibilities:

- Compile, prepare, and summarize relevant materials for use by attorneys in discovery.
- Index, track, and control case related materials.
- Review documents for relevance and inclusion in case file.
- Assist with preparation of court filings, including cite and fact checking legal briefs, cross-reference checks, confirming proper Bluebook citation, proofreading, and assembling of exhibits and appendices.
- Review documents for relevance and privilege according to established guidelines and criteria.
- Track and control document discovery, including documents produced and received in discovery.
- Index, track, and control exhibits and other materials at depositions and at trial.
- Coordinate trial set-up and logistics as well as serve as liaison among various internal departments and outside vendors.
- Summarize depositions and other transcripts.
- Work closely and directly with attorneys and clients during all phases of litigation.
- Provide support to attorneys during trial, including assistance with creation of demonstratives and courtroom presentation/support.

Qualifications:

- BA or BS degree strongly preferred.
- Associate's degree or paralegal certificate with at least 5 years of comparable work experience required.
- Ability to multitask using analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility regarding client and legal team requests.
- High level of productivity.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

- This job operates in a clerical, office setting.
- Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines are routinely used.
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time and perform tasks on a computer.

Compensation & Benefits:

- The salary range for this position applies to the listed location.
- The salary range reflects factors such as experience, education, licensure and/or certifications, geographic location, and market demands.
- It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for a position.
- Reasonable estimates of the current ranges for this position are:
- City of San Francisco: $80,000 to $115,000
