As a Family Law Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in assisting our attorneys with gathering, analyzing, and organizing information, as well as drafting legal pleadings, motions, and other documents. You will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively with our team of attorneys and support staff, providing support in all phases of case preparation and attending trials.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with assigned attorneys and support staff in preparing legal documentation and processing transactions
• Conduct client interviews and locate and interview expert witnesses
• Draft a variety of legal documents, including discovery motions, summary judgment motions, appellate briefs, affidavits, memoranda, and letters
• Conduct factual investigations and research to respond to litigation discovery requests and other inquiries
• Manage and organize cases and files
• Assist in all phases of case preparation, including discovery and trial
• Prepare for and attend trials, including preparing jury instructions and coordinating trial exhibits
• Monitor legal fees, budgets, and project status
• Provide general logistical support and assist in the maintenance of legal files
• Assist with special projects as assigned
• Other related duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:
• 2-3 years of related experience or equivalent
• Certification from an ABA-approved paralegal training program or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• Strong research skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, G-Suites, and Clio (preferred)
• Commitment to excellence and high standards
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow effectively
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a diverse group of individuals at all organizational levels
• Good judgement and ability to make timely and sound decisions

• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

• Occasional lifting, pushing, and carrying items up to 50 pounds
• Use of specialized equipment and machinery, such as telephones, fax machines, voice mail, computers, copiers, and scanners
