Law firm Allen & Overy is seeking a Paralegal for their Leveraged Finance department in New York. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement, with a combination of office and remote work. The Leveraged Finance department at A&O is a market leader in the US, with top-tier experience in all aspects of the leveraged finance market. The role of the Paralegal will involve providing technical and project support to the Leveraged Finance partners and associates under the guidance of the US paralegal manager. The position requires a four-year bachelor's degree, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a demonstrated interest in leveraged finance or banking.

Key responsibilities of the role include conducting legal research, writing brief summaries, participating in due diligence investigations, assisting with closings, and drafting client-facing memos and presentations. The Paralegal will work closely with the Leveraged Finance partners and other paralegal team members.

The annualized base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000, and the actual salary offered will depend on the qualifications of the individual and other job-related factors. This role offers the opportunity to join a global law firm and be part of a dynamic and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct legal research on domestic and international topics
- Write brief summaries on relevant topics or findings from legal research
- Assist with due diligence investigations and provide organizational support
- Prepare closing sets for clients and other parties
- Interact with service providers and submit filings and documents
- Draft client-facing memos and presentations
- Work on pro bono matters as available

- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PDF
- Familiarity with iManage or similar tools is a plus
