Law Firm Seeking Experienced Patent Prosecution Coordinator

McNeill Baur PLLC, a certified majority woman-owned biotech and pharma-focused IP boutique, is currently seeking a patent prosecution coordinator with at least 5 years of experience to join our team. This is a part-time position with the option for full-time, and we welcome candidates who have been out of the workforce to apply.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

- Managing foreign and PCT filings
- Monitoring and managing deadlines in the firm’s docket system
- Drafting reporting letters
- Preparing and uploading US and PCT filings in Patent Center
- Preparing and uploading PCT applications in ePCT
- Assisting with electronic file management
- Preparing information disclosure statements
- Providing general administrative support to the attorneys of the firm
- Handling other miscellaneous activities required in a small firm environment

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years experience in an IP law practice providing patent prosecution related tasks
- Strong knowledge of US patent prosecution rules
- Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and organization
- Proficiency with EFS-Web, Microsoft software applications, and docketing systems
- Preference for candidates with substantial foreign filing experience

Compensation Information:

- Part-time or full-time position
- Salary range: $40-60 per hour
- Salary commensurate with experience
