what you need to succeed (required/minimum qualifications): • juris doctor from an accredited law school and a minimum of 7 years relevant experience • licensed to practice and in good standing in a united states state bar • proven experience practicing as a corporate and commercial transactions attorney • strong transactional background, with solid drafting and negotiation experience and a firm understanding of contract structure and contract lifecycles • understand critical business operations and structure strategies, agreements, and transactions necessary to address key business issues • excellent time management skills and ability to adjust to changing project priorities in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment • perceptive and flexible, with exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities and ability to work in a diverse and collaborative team environment • proactive self-starter and team player with the capacity to regulate and perform under stress • superior oral and written communication skills and the ability to break down legal matters into everyday language for clients and business partners at all levels within the organization to understand • must be highly organized with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to providing superior service • must possess a high level of integrity and legal ethics • advanced proficiency in microsoft office suite applications, specifically word, excel, and sharepoint what will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications): • experience with employee health benefit transactions * combination of candidate’s education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description’s minimum education and general experience years combined (management experience cannot be substituted). **we will review specific salary information at the time of phone screening based upon your location & experience
