Job description:

The Associate General Counsel – Operations & Experience – Remote position at UnitedHealthcare offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in the health care system of tomorrow. As a member of the Legal, Compliance and Regulatory Affairs (LCRA) - Operations and Experience Legal team, you will provide legal advice and counsel on complex operational issues across a variety of topics. This includes digital innovation, website and mobile applications, accessibility requirements, electronic signatures and delivery, artificial intelligence/machine learning, email, texting, and social media.

With the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the ., you will play a crucial role in advising on the implementation of federal and state legal and regulatory requirements, identifying privacy considerations, and evaluating risk management and service issues. You will also work closely with senior legal and business leaders to determine the appropriate legal course of action to meet business objectives.

Required qualifications for this role include a Juris Doctorate degree, current and active license to practice law in at least one . jurisdiction, and 6+ years of professional legal experience in a law firm or corporate environment. Preferred qualifications include technology experience in areas such as consumer experience, consumer protection laws, privacy, email, digital marketing, or artificial intelligence, as well as a background in health insurance and/or managed care industry.

The salary range for this role is $124,500 to $239,400 annually, with additional benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution.
