Responsibilities

As a First-Party/PIP Insurance Plaintiff's Attorney, the ideal candidate will have 1-3+ years of experience in first-party property or PIP defense litigation. This person can be located in our Jacksonville, Gainesville, Ocala, Tampa, or Orlando office. The responsibilities of this role include managing a significant caseload from inception to post-trial, attending hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials, preparing pleadings and other litigation documents, and developing client relationships. Travel to various courthouses and other locations may be required, and meeting monthly billing requirements is a must. This position is in a professional office setting and requires a 40-hour work week, Monday-Friday.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have knowledge and experience in first-party property claims and/or PIP litigation, as well as expertise in all phases of litigation from pleadings through trial. Strong oral advocacy and excellent writing skills are essential, as well as the ability to evaluate cases. This position also requires membership in Good Standing with the Florida Bar, working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, and technological confidence.
