Responsibilities The primary responsibilities of the Sr. Associate include: • Legal Research and Analysis: Conducting thorough legal research to analyze statutes, regulations, case law, and other relevant legal authorities. • Client Communication: Communicating with clients to gather information, provide updates on case progress, answer legal questions, and address concerns • Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, federal and state complaints, and legal memoranda • Case Management: Assisting in managing caseloads, including organizing and maintaining case files, calendars, and deadlines. • Depositions and Discovery: Preparing and conducting depositions, including questioning witnesses and gathering evidence. Manage the discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests and conducting document reviews. • Courtroom representation: Represent clients in court proceedings, including trials, arbitrations, and settlement conferences. • Mentor and supervision: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior associates, paralegals, and support staff and assist in professional development, review work, and delegate assignments.
