Job Description:

As a Legal Assistant at Zwicker & Associates, ., you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our debt collection efforts. You will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in a collaborative and innovative environment while supporting our team of attorneys. We are looking for a candidate with a winning attitude and a desire to learn and grow with our firm.

Responsibilities:

- Analyze and process data to ensure proper workflow and client expectations are met
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Office Manager and attorneys
- Utilize internal software to document status of accounts
- Prepare documentation for attorney review and file pleadings with court systems
- Answer incoming calls and communicate effectively with team members and outside parties
- Comply with standard operating procedures and maintain quality and quantity of work

Qualifications:

- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically strong excel skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and professionalism
- Previous administrative experience in a law firm or financial institution preferred

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to lift up to five pounds
- Able to sit for majority of work day and bend and move when needed
- Able to read and comprehend documents and communicate effectively
- Comfortable using a computer, phone, or equivalent device
- Flexible to work a 40-hour schedule
