Job Title: Senior Associate or Counsel (Tax)
Salary Range: $235,000 - $260,000
Experience: At least 7 years

Saul Ewing, a leading law firm with multiple offices across the United States, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior tax associate or counsel to join our growing team. This position is open to our offices in Chicago, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York, Orange County, Philadelphia and Washington DC.

Qualifications:
- At least 7 years of experience working on tax matters with federal and state elements
- Significant experience in one or more of the following specialties: partnership taxation, mergers and acquisitions, or tax considerations relating to real estate investments
- Knowledge of state and local tax laws (a plus)
- Experience with tax-exempt organizations (a plus)
- Bar admission required for the jurisdiction of practice

Responsibilities:
- Handle complex tax matters for clients
- Conduct thorough research and analysis on tax issues
- Draft legal documents and provide strategic advice to clients
- Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm

Requirements:
- Strong academic background
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Prior experience in a large law firm is preferred
